How beautiful and how wonderful is the word of the living God?! How gracious and how true are the pure words of his mouth?! Everyday I just sit and read the scriptures and I marvel at how faithful and true the testimony of these words are indeed; how spiritual and how deep and penetrating they are to the heart and soul! Let us daily come to the scriptures as children to sit before our Father in heaven. Let us drink deep of the fountain of living waters that proceed from his throne by his eternal Spirit sent forth into our hearts! Let us sit in judgment of these words no more. Let us not allow the doctrines and commandments of men to bind us in confusion and put the veil upon our heart so that we might not be at liberty to see clearly with open face in the pure glass of the word the glory of our Lord Jesus! But let us come daily to the throne of his grace to be washed and prepared in heart and mind to drink deep and afresh of his living words that he has set before us as a table to strengthen us with strength in our soul. And let us not just read and study the scriptures in isolation with private interpretation. But let us gather with other like-minded believers to seek the heart and mind of our Lord and to keep each other accountable to the word of truth. Let us not waver. Let us not handle these scriptures for our gain or advantage over the people of God; God forbid! But rather, let us come untainted with no agenda but to be made whole and pleasing to our Father in heaven; to be true and worthy disciples of our great Lord Jesus Christ; to be obedient to the leading of his Spirit that leads us into all truth and liberty and everlasting life! For truly we are to shine as lights in the midst of a dark world and crooked and perverse generation that knows not God and obeys not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. For many that even claim to represent him have turned aside unto vain jangling by the doctrines and systems of men that seek to nullify the pure and wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ; for these cunning crafty systems devised by the father of lies seduce men to run from the fear of the LORD and pet the flesh by fulfilling both the lusts of the flesh and the mind; NO! Let us not be of such an number! For Paul himself warned us many times of those who would not consent to the words of our Lord Jesus and his glorious gospel and doctrine of godliness, but instead, would rather serve their own bellies and use "good" words and fair speeches to deceive the hearts of the simple. May God have mercy on such who have been deceived by such cunning and grant them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth. For Jesus Christ said that only those who would continue in HIS DOCTRINE (the things he taught and commanded) would come to know the truth and be truly set free indeed! For he declared that his words are SPIRIT and they are LIFE! So let us drink deep of the word of life daily and live and breathe and move in HIM. Let us love and serve him with all our hearts and souls being filled with HIS Spirit which is holy and pure and full of goodness and truth. And let us then in full faith hold forth this WORD OF LIFE so that ALL may see and ALL may hear the glorious words of this life! For truly, no other hope is there in this lost and dying world, than to be brought to repentance and HEAR and RECEIVE the word of life. For in the beginning was the Word; and in him was LIFE; and this Word of LIFE is the light of men that shineth in darkness.
